The beauty of the Harris Classic Twin Tub Washing Machine
is that the user is in full control. The water level is controlled
so there need not be any excess used. The wash water can be
used several times, first the whites, then the colours, last
towels, tea towels overalls etc. This saves many litres of
water, not only for the environmently friendly but also for
users that have a limited supply such as boats, campervans
etc
Water is put in at the temperature required thus saving on
the amount of electricity used , the wash cycle is using 360w
for a 15 minute cycle and the spinner 160w for 5 minutes.
Saving money by using the appliance for 20 minutes at a low
wattage is good news for the energy conscious. Why not re-use
the rinse water? We regularly hear of rinse water being used
on the garden!
